PROVO, Utah — A Provo High School resource officer fired last month for inappropriate dress and conduct at a birthday party will be reinstated.
After an internal investigation last month, Provo Police decided officer Cody Harris violated department rules while attending a school faculty member’s birthday party. [Read backstory here]
Earlier this month, Harris appealed his firing to the Provo Civil Service Commission. The commission decided that Harris should be reinstated.
The Provo Police Department released a statement Wednesday saying they will honor the commission’s ruling.
