Urban fishing program instructors needed | Events
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
This is a news release from Spanish Fork.
The Parks and Recreation and the Division of Wildlife Resources have teamed up to offer an urban fishing program for the youth of the community. This program is an effort to educate the youth about fishing and public water ways.
The course will be held Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, March 27th thru May 10th 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. No sessions will be held April 10th or 11th.
Parks and Recreation is currently looking for instructors to help teach either Tuesday, Wednesday, or both evenings for the 6 week course. Instructors will work with a small group of kids helping them to become better in the outdoors.
If interested in being an instructor, please call Bronco with Parks & Recreation at 801-804-4604 or bhunter@spanishfork.org. An instructors meeting will be held Monday, March 12 at 6:00 pm at the Recreation office.
Remember that service hours from this program can be used toward the dedicated hunter program.
