Costco plans to build a store in Spanish Fork | Business

Spanish Fork will be getting a Costco by the end of 2012, the city says.

Several newspaper articles have been written recently discussing plans for Costco to build a store in Spanish Fork. The City anticipates that Costco will open a store this year.

Earthwork has already begun on their site and the City Council recently approved an economic development agreement with Costco. At a recent Council meeting, a Costco representative stated that Costco was excited to come to Spanish Fork and that they expected to have a store open by the Fall of 2012. 

City leaders are excited with this development because of the positive impact it will have on the community. Many residents already shop at Costco and will now have a store here at home. This will add another great community partner to the many wonderful businesses already in Spanish Fork.
